Titãs cancels upcoming concerts in Porto and Lisbon

The Brazilian band Titãs has cancelled two upcoming concerts in Portugal scheduled for October. The performances were set to take place on October 23 at the Super Bock Arena in Porto and on October 24 at Campo Pequeno in Lisbon.

Organizers stated the cancellations are due to “unforeseen circumstances that make it impossible to hold the shows on the scheduled dates” and cited “force majeure” as the reason. Ticket holders have been advised that they can request refunds through their respective points of sale.

The tour was intended to be a symbolic return to Portugal, marking the 40th anniversary of the band's landmark 1986 album, ‘Cabeça Dinossauro’. The current lineup includes Branco Mello, Sérgio Britto, and Tony Bellotto.
