Titus Tunnel: Man rescued after being trapped for two days

A 28-year-old man, identified as A. A., was rescued after being trapped for two days in the historic Titus Tunnel in the Samandağ district of Hatay. The incident occurred while the man was walking near the tunnel to relax during his weekend.

According to reports, the man lost his balance after tripping on a stone and fell, resulting in a period of unconsciousness. Because he had left his mobile phone in his vehicle, he was unable to call for help. Following a report from his family regarding his disappearance, gendarmerie teams launched a search operation.

The man was eventually located in a semi-conscious state by tourists visiting the site, who then alerted authorities. He was transferred to a hospital for medical attention, and his health condition is reported to be stable.
