Tiu Keng Leng indoor playground faces criticism over child safety
Parents at an indoor children's playground in Tiu Keng Leng have raised concerns regarding repeated physical attacks by a young child on other infants. Reports shared on social media indicate that a toddler, estimated to be between 18 months and 2 years old, has frequently scratched and pulled the hair of other children, causing injuries and bleeding.
Victims' parents have expressed frustration with the lack of intervention from the child's caregivers, describing their response as merely verbal warnings without removing the child from the area. Furthermore, management by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department has been criticized for inadequate supervision and a lack of enforcement regarding these recurring incidents.
Some parents have called for a blacklist mechanism to prevent the child from entering the facility to ensure the safety of other children.
