Tivaouane girl fatally stabbed during village dispute

An 8‑year‑old girl identified as K. BA was killed after being stabbed with a knife by another minor, A. BA, during an altercation in the village of Ndiawrigne, Darou Khoudoss commune, Tivaouane department, Senegal. The victim was rushed on a cart to the SAO health post, then transferred by ambulance to the Mame Abdou Aziz Sy Dabakh Hospital, but died before a medical examination could be completed.

Local gendarmes from the Mboro territorial brigade arrived at the scene, secured the area and opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances and any possible responsibility.
