Tivat inaugurates renovated Radovići square

The municipality of Tivat opened the newly rebuilt main square in the Radovići neighbourhood during the cultural‑entertainment event “Vidimo se na trgu”. The €450,000 reconstruction, carried out by AG Infoplan under the A12 Projekt design, added a modern playground, new horticultural planting, urban furniture and upgraded public lighting.

Mayor Željko Komnenović highlighted the project as a milestone in correcting decades of neglect in Krtoli, noting that since 2021 more than €6 million has been invested in the area, including water‑ and sewage networks and transport infrastructure. He announced further plans for secondary and tertiary sewage works and traffic improvements around the square. Local official Jovan Brinić called the square a symbol of community, freedom and identity, emphasizing its role as a social and cultural hub.

The opening featured local food and souvenir stalls, a virtual‑reality tourism showcase, performances by the folk ensemble KUD Boka and singer Mirjane Vukanović (Mike), and activities for children.
