Tivat hosts “Još se digod skupe naši” klapa music showcase

The “Još se digod skupe naši” klapa music showcase, organized by the A Capella Association, took place on the island of Gospa od Milosti in Tivat. The event aimed to promote and preserve klapa singing, a traditional form of Dalmatian a cappella music recognized by UNESCO.

This year’s edition featured award winners from the 60th Dalmatian Klapa Festival in Omiš. Performers included Klapa Kaše from Dubrovnik, Klapa Dežgracija, Ženska klapa Merla from Dugopolje, Klapa Ošjak from Korčula, and several groups from Tivat, including Ženska klapa Bellezza and children's choirs from the Tivat Music School.

Approximately 800 visitors attended the event, which utilized boat transport to reach the island. Mijo Stanić, director of the Omiš Festival, praised the organizers for the quality of the event and the high level of attendance.
