Tivat official disputes FK Arsenal leadership allegations
Ćazim Lisičić, an official from the Europe Now (ES) movement in the Tivat Municipal Assembly, has released an official decision from the Municipality of Tivat to refute allegations made by the leadership of FK Arsenal. Lisičić claims the document proves that attempts to discredit his professional reputation were “deliberate lies.”
Lisičić stated that this is the second instance in six months where he has faced false accusations, following previous disputes regarding councilor fees and his involvement with KK Teodo. He has called upon the Government of Montenegro and national institutions to investigate potential irregularities and financial flows within FK Arsenal.
Furthermore, Lisičić raised concerns regarding the transparency of the club’s financial documentation. He noted that despite findings from the Administrative Inspection and the Agency for Protection of Personal Data and Free Access to Information (AZLP), requested supplier analytical cards and club invoices have not been provided. He urged state authorities to expand their investigations into suspected financial irregularities and potential partisan hiring practices.
