Tivat receives 44,500 euros for waste management improvements
The Pardubice Region has approved 44,500 euros in funding for a project by the Municipality of Tivat aimed at improving waste management and environmental protection. The total value of the project is approximately 90,000 euros, with the grant covering half of the costs and the remaining half provided by the Tivat municipal budget.
The project includes the procurement of semi-underground containers, containers for the collection and removal of plant waste, and recycling machines. This initiative follows a Memorandum of Cooperation signed in May between the Pardubice Region, Tivat, and Žabljak.
This project aligns with Tivat's broader efforts to enhance its municipal waste management system, including the development of a Local Plan for Municipal and Non-Hazardous Construction Waste Management for the 2026–2029 period.
