Tivify offers 50% off Premium plan as Movistar resumes Canal Red test broadcasts

Tivify announced a summer promotion that halves the price of its Premium subscription to €4.50 per month for three months, valid until 31 July. The plan includes 17 paid channels from AMC Networks, AXN and Mezzo, advanced features such as 350 hours of cloud recording, five linked devices and Chromecast compatibility, and a slate of new movies, series and documentaries. After the promotional period the subscription will revert to €8.99 per month with no contract commitment.

Movistar Plus+ has reactivated test transmissions of Canal Red, the television project launched in 2023 by former politician Pablo Iglesias. The test signal, first detected in February 2026, was temporarily halted and has now resumed, suggesting progress in technical validation before a potential full launch. No official launch date or channel slot has been announced, but incorporation into Movistar’s platform would greatly expand Canal Red’s audience beyond its current digital presence.
