Tiwa Savage honors late designer Sadia Sanusi

Nigerian Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has paid tribute to the late Ghanaian fashion designer Sadia Sanusi after wearing one of the designer’s iconic Kente outfits at the wedding of Bozoma Saint John and Keely Watson in Accra.

Savage’s ensemble, which reportedly took less than 24 hours to create, became a viral sensation on social media. Following the event, Savage expressed her honor in wearing the piece and shared a message on Instagram stating, “may your legacy live on.”

Savage’s stylist, Ade Owolabi, noted that the team was unaware the founder of the luxury brand Sadia Sanusi had passed away two months prior until shortly before the ceremony. Owolabi praised the strength of the team left behind by the late designer.
