Tiwa Savage reveals egg freezing to preserve future fertility options

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has revealed that she has frozen her eggs to preserve the option of having more children in the future. The award-winning artist, who is already a mother, shared her decision via social media to encourage awareness regarding fertility preservation.

Savage noted that her decision was influenced by the experiences of two close friends: one who faced difficulties conceiving later in life and another who was able to preserve reproductive options prior to undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. She advised women to begin considering egg freezing from the age of 30 due to the natural decline in fertility that occurs with age.

While advocating for the procedure, the singer criticized the high cost of egg freezing, calling for it to become more affordable and accessible to ensure more women can protect their future reproductive choices.
