Tiziano Perrotta transfers from Banfield to Elche CF

Argentine club Banfield has officially completed the sale of 19-year-old striker Tiziano Perrotta to Spanish side Elche CF. The transfer, valued at approximately 3.5 to 4 million euros, includes a clause allowing Banfield to retain a percentage of any future sale.

Under the terms of the agreement, Perrotta will not join Elche immediately. Instead, he will spend a period on loan at Defensa y Justicia in Argentina. This arrangement is intended to allow the player to continue developing in a competitive environment while he completes the necessary administrative processes to obtain a European community passport.

Banfield management stated that the proceeds from the sale will be used to stabilize the club’s finances, specifically to address outstanding salary debts, administrative obligations, and various legal or supplier debts. Perrotta, a left-footed attacker who scored eight goals in 19 matches for Banfield, is considered one of Argentina's most promising young talents.
