Tiziano Taccola, prominent socialist leader, dies at 78

Tiziano Taccola, a prominent political figure and historical leader of the Italian Socialist Party, has passed away at the age of 78. His death occurred suddenly on the morning of October 15 due to a massive heart attack.

Taccola was a founding member of the civic list ‘Immagina San Giuliano Terme,’ which supported the candidacy of Mayor Matteo Cecchelli in recent administrative elections. Mayor Cecchelli praised Taccola as an example of selfless civic engagement, noting his lifelong dedication to the community, particularly in Sant’Andrea in Pescaiola.

Funeral services are scheduled to take place on Monday, October 19, at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of Sant’Andrea Apostolo in Sant’Andrea in Pescaiola.
