TJDFT hosts special program for families of judges and staff
The Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT) hosted a special edition of its ‘Gerações’ (Generations) program, part of the ‘Conhecendo a Justiça do DF’ initiative. The event, organized by the Judicial Training School (EjuDFT) in partnership with Laboratório Aurora, welcomed the parents and grandparents of judges and court staff.
During the opening, TJDFT President Jair Soares highlighted the institution's achievements in efficiency, transparency, and accessibility, attributing these successes to the collaborative work of staff and continuous training. The program included a visit to the Jury Court, where Judge Fernando Barbagalo discussed judicial proceedings and the importance of family values in social coexistence.
Additionally, the event featured a lecture by Assistant Judge Monize Marques regarding the protection of the elderly. The session covered topics such as preventing fraud and scams targeting seniors, as well as promoting autonomy and legal rights for the elderly population. Participants also visited the TJDFT Memorial and Laboratório Aurora.
