TJDFT Judge hosts students from Chapadão do Sul in Brasília

Judge Fábio Esteves of the Tribunal de Justiça do Distrito Federal e dos Territórios (TJDFT) and member of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) hosted students and teachers from 12 schools in Chapadão do Sul, Mato Grosso do Sul, in Brasília.

The visit was part of the ‘Câmara Vai à Escola’ project, organized by the Chapadão do Sul Municipal Chamber. During the meeting at the Brasília Jury Court, Judge Esteves explained the functions of the Judiciary and the specificities of the Federal District's justice system. The group also visited the TJDFT Memorial.

Judge Esteves emphasized the importance of such initiatives in connecting young people with public institutions and shared his personal journey from Chapadão do Sul to becoming a judge, highlighting the role of education in transforming lives.
