TJMG announces National Conciliation Week to resolve legal disputes

The Tribunal de Justiça de Minas Gerais (TJMG) has announced the XXI National Conciliation Week, scheduled to take place from November 3 to 6. This initiative is part of a national movement coordinated by the Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ) aimed at resolving conflicts through dialogue and self-composition rather than traditional litigation.

Interested parties can register for the program through the ‘Quero Conciliar’ channel on the TJMG Portal until September 25. The conciliation process is designed to provide faster and more economical solutions for various legal matters, including family issues, inheritance, alimony, child custody, asset division, and divorce.

Beyond the specific national week, the Centros Judiciários de Solução de Conflitos e Cidadania (Cejuscs) offer conciliation services throughout the year to help resolve disputes before they become formal judicial processes.
