TJMS to launch book on judicial harassment prevention
The book ‘Cortes Silenciadas’ will be launched at the Court of Justice of Mato Grosso do Sul (TJMS) to address harassment prevention within the judiciary. Based on master's research by public servant Fernanda Baldo, the work analyzes 27 state courts and identifies a lack of specific spaces for supporting workers facing harassment.
A key outcome of this research was the implementation of an institutionalized Support Nucleus at TJMS, making Mato Grosso do Sul the first Brazilian state to have a judicial body dedicated to preventing harassment and psychosocial risks. The book explores how fear of retaliation and lack of trust in reporting mechanisms contribute to silence in the workplace, advocating for more empathetic and humanized management.
