TKO evaluates halftime-style musical performances for WWE events

TKO is evaluating the integration of musical performances, similar to halftime shows at major sporting events, to enhance the live experience at WWE productions. This initiative is being tested during the upcoming WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, scheduled for September 6, 2026, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Originally, WWE had planned for Lil Yachty to perform a live concert at the event, but those plans were altered, and he was instead scheduled for a match against Baron Corbin. Following this change, WWE announced that rapper Quavo will perform a live set, including an unreleased song from his upcoming album, ‘QROMELIFE’.

Internal reports suggest that TKO and WWE are using Quavo’s performance as a pilot program to determine if standalone musical acts can serve as significant attractions for future major WWE shows.
