TKV Group invests in coal industry cultural heritage and technology

The Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) is investing significant resources into developing and preserving cultural institutions and historical sites related to the coal and mineral industry. TKV manages an extensive network of heritage sites, including 9 historical-cultural relics, 4 historical landmarks, 8 monuments, and 26 traditional rooms. These sites, located across regions such as Mao Khe, Uong Bi, Cam Pha, Ha Long, and Quang Ninh, serve as architectural records of the industry's development.

Notable sites include the first coal mining location in Vietnam at Mao Khe and the Cua Ong Coal Screening Company's historical command bunker. Additionally, the corporation maintains numerous community facilities, such as 83 cultural houses, 25 libraries, and various sports venues.

Parallel to these cultural efforts, the Cua Ong Coal Screening Company is focusing on technological modernization. The company is implementing automation in production, digital quality inspection, and modern coal screening lines to enhance productivity and safety. This modernization aims to increase the value of Vietnamese coal in both domestic and international markets while honoring the industry's 90-year history of discipline and solidarity.
