Tlajomulco municipality and Tamaulipas state keep AAA credit ratings in Mexico

Fitch Ratings reaffirmed its AAA(mex) rating for the municipality of Tlajomulco, confirming the highest credit quality for the local government. Moody’s also ratified an AAA.mx rating for the state of Tamaulipas, citing strong fiscal discipline, stable revenue sources and prudent debt management. Both agencies highlighted the entities’ ability to meet financial obligations and the confidence this generates among investors.
