Tlajomulco receives architectural awards and launches health campaign

The municipality of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga has received multiple recognitions from the Organization of Colleges and Associations of the National Day of Architects in Jalisco (DINARQ). The San Sebastián el Grande Municipal Market was honored for its architectural design, which integrates regional materials, public plazas, and landscaped areas to promote community interaction and local commerce.

Additionally, DINARQ recognized architects Omar Alejandro Jasso Rivera and Héctor Gabriel Ramírez Magaña from the Tlajomulco Public Works Department. Jasso Rivera was specifically named Architect of the Year 2026.

In parallel, the local government is conducting the third “Tu salud siempre primero” (Your health always comes first) health campaign. Organized by the Municipal Institute for Women, the initiative provides free medical services, including mammograms, vaccinations, vision exams, and dental consultations. The campaign focuses on breast cancer prevention and early detection in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
