Tlalnepantla implements infrastructure works amid local flooding and pest reports

In Tlalnepantla, Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz announced an investment of over 4.5 million pesos for urban infrastructure improvements. The project includes the total rehabilitation of Pekín, Atenas, and Praga streets in the Jardines de Bellavista neighborhood, featuring new asphalt, speed reducers, and improved signaling.

However, residents in other areas of the municipality face ongoing challenges. In the Tequesquinahuac neighborhood, heavy rains have caused flooding and property damage in at least 20 homes, with locals citing collapsed drainage as a recurring issue. Additionally, residents of the Santa Cecilia housing development have requested urgent pest control following a sanitation intervention at a local property that caused rats and cockroaches to disperse into neighboring houses.
