Tlalnepantla Mayor highlights social program reforms in Mexico

During an informative assembly in Tlalnepantla, Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz discussed the impact of the ‘Fourth Transformation’ movement in Mexico. He stated that the movement has successfully converted social programs into constitutional rights.

Pérez Cruz highlighted economic shifts, noting that the minimum wage increased from 2,650 pesos in 2018 to over 9,500 pesos by 2026, representing a 154 percent real increase without triggering price hikes. He also claimed that between 2019 and 2024, 13.5 million Mexicans moved out of poverty.

The event, held at the Explana Gustavo Baz, served as a show of support for the President of the Republic and emphasized the organizational strength of the Morena party within the metropolitan area.
