Tlaxcala deputy proposes judicial reform as Hermosillo marks suicide prevention day
In Tlaxcala, Deputy Héctor Israel Ortiz Ortiz has introduced an initiative to reform the Organic Law of the State Judiciary. The proposal aims to update the organization and functioning of the judicial branch to align with recent judicial reforms. Key changes include strengthening the powers of the Judicial Discipline Tribunal, restructuring the Judicial Administration Body, and incorporating the State Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms.
In Hermosillo, the City Council and the Institute of Youth of Hermosillo (IHJ) are partnering with the organization Casa ANNZA to commemorate World Suicide Prevention Day. A march titled “Una Luz por Ellos” is scheduled to take place from the Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta bust to the University of Sonora campus. The event seeks to raise awareness regarding mental health and provide listening spaces for those in need.
