Tlaxcala vehicle monitoring model becomes national reference

The Government of Tlaxcala has established its Public Vehicle Registry (REPUVET) model as a national reference for vehicle security and monitoring. The system integrates vehicle registration with advanced technologies, including License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), alongside fixed, mobile, and portable monitoring arches.

Authorities from Sinaloa recently conducted a technical visit to Tlaxcala’s Command, Control, Communications, Computing, Coordination, and Intelligence Center (C5i) to study the operational structure. Sinaloa aims to replicate this comprehensive technological framework to strengthen its own capabilities for vehicle identification, monitoring, and recovery.
