TMG supergroup to release third album ‘TMG III SAYONARA’

The supergroup TMG, led by B’z guitarist Tak Matsumoto, will release its third album, ‘TMG III SAYONARA’, on October 14. The group features an international lineup including Jack Blades (Night Ranger), Eric Martin (Mr. Big), and drummer Matt Sorum (formerly of Guns N’ Roses).

The six-track album includes a collaboration with singer Ado on the title track ‘SAYONARA’, a cover of The Beatles’ ‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps’, and the instrumental track ‘DOOM’, which serves as the theme song for the film ‘Yatsumura’. Matsumoto explained that the title ‘SAYONARA’ represents gratitude for the band’s journey and a transition toward a new stage rather than a final farewell.

The release coincides with the announcement of the ‘TMG LIVE 2026 “SAYONARA”’ national tour. The album will be available in several formats, including a standard edition, a limited edition with a Blu-ray, and special editions for the B’z Official Fan Club.
