TMMD Sengkuyung program launches rural development projects in Central Java
The TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) Sengkuyung Phase IV program for 2026 has commenced in several regions of Central Java, focusing on rural infrastructure and community welfare. The program runs from October 13 to November 11, 2026.
In Tejorejo Village, Kendal Regency, the initiative includes the construction of a 530-meter concrete road to improve accessibility for agriculture and education. The project is funded by a total of Rp360 million, sourced from the Central Java Provincial Budget, the Kendal Regency Budget, and community self-help funds. Non-physical activities such as national insight socialization and free medical services are also planned.
In Penggaron Kidul, Semarang City, the program involves road improvements, the construction of embankments, and the rehabilitation of 10 uninhabitable houses with support from BAZNAS. The project also includes providing clean water facilities at a local mosque. This collaborative effort between the TNI, local governments, and the community aims to accelerate equitable development in rural areas.
