TMNT: Splintered Fate announces The King’s Gambit update

SuperEvil Mega Corp has announced ‘The King’s Gambit’, the largest free update for TMNT: Splintered Fate. Scheduled for release on August 18, 2026, the update marks the game’s 2.0 release and introduces the Rat King as a formidable end-game boss. To access the Rat King, players must defeat Shredder multiple times and rescue Master Splinter. Defeating this boss unlocks a new ending to the main campaign.

The free update also adds Pepperoni, a dinosaur pet companion that resides in the Turtles’ lair. Additionally, a paid DLC package will introduce Slash as a playable character, featuring unique Water and Ooze powers, an Enraged mode, and a meteor-like explosion tool. The DLC also includes a Samurai Armor Pack for the playable cast. All paid content will be available in a new Platinum Bundle.
