TMT Group launches E-Motor electric motorcycle brand in Vietnam
TMT Group is expanding its green vehicle ecosystem by launching a new electric motorcycle brand, E-Motor, in the Vietnamese market. The company, which previously focused on truck distribution and Wuling electric cars, plans to begin deliveries of its first models in September 2026.
All research, development, and manufacturing will be conducted in-house at the company's factory in Hung Yen province. The initial lineup features four distinct models targeting various consumer segments:
- **Super Max**: A heavy-duty model designed for urban logistics and delivery, featuring a 4,000W in-hub motor and a two-battery LFP system offering an 180 km range. - **Iris**: An elegant model aimed at female consumers and individuals, equipped with a 3,000W motor and a 180 km range per charge. - **Tansy**: A compact model for students and commuters with a 1,200W motor and a 120 km range. - **X-Pro**: A model designed with a more edgy, personalized style for younger riders, though specific technical details remain unannounced.
The brand utilizes LFP battery technology and IP67 waterproof standards for several models to compete in Vietnam's growing electric two-wheeler market.
