TNA Slammiversary set for June 28 in Boston

Impact Wrestling's Slammiversary pay‑per‑view is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, at Boston's Agganis Arena. The event will feature Mike Santana defending the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth in the main event.

The card also includes a TNA Knockouts Title match (Lei Ying Lee vs. Xia Brookside), a three‑way ladder match for the Tag Team Titles, an Ultimate X contest for the X Division Title, and several other bouts such as Mustafa Ali’s open challenge for the International Championship and a Moose vs. Eddie Edwards showdown. The show was moved from an evening slot to an afternoon start to avoid conflict with AEW’s Forbidden Door and NXT’s Great American Bash, both slated for the same night.

Former TNA talent Sami Callihan, speaking on Busted Open Radio, said the build-up to Slammiversary has been weak, noting that matches were not announced until two weeks before the event and that “the big events this year have not had the greatest builds.”
