TNA to crown new X-Division Champion at Bound for Glory

TNA Wrestling has announced that the X-Division Championship will be vacant following Leon Slater’s decision to exercise ‘Option C’. By utilizing this rule, Slater relinquishes his X-Division title in exchange for a shot at the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth.

Director of Authority Santino Marella revealed that a new champion will be crowned during a six-way match at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view, scheduled for October 11 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. To determine the competitors for this match, TNA will hold a series of qualifying matches.

The announcement follows Slater’s victory over Cedric Alexander at Lockdown. While the specific participants and qualifying match schedules have not yet been released, the process is expected to begin following the live episode of Impact in Brampton, Ontario.
