Tùng Dương announces career-largest stadium concert

Vietnamese singer Tùng Dương has announced his largest career milestone to date, a massive live concert titled ‘Bay về phía mặt trời’ (Flying Towards the Sun). Scheduled for December 19, 2026, at the Mỹ Đình National Stadium in Hanoi, the event aims to host between 40,000 and 50,000 attendees.

Marking 25 years in the music industry, the concert will feature approximately 30 performances and nearly 40 musical arrangements. The production is designed for an outdoor stadium setting, incorporating advanced lighting, LED video walls, contemporary dance, and visual arts technology. Tùng Dương is also serving as a co-director for the show alongside Rồng Việt Entertainment.

The artist described the project as a calculated risk and a way to evolve beyond traditional theater settings. He emphasized a shift in his musical approach, moving away from purely showcasing vocal power toward a more introspective and collaborative style. The concert will include guest appearances from younger artists, including Phùng Khánh Linh and Grey D, to foster a connection between different generations of music fans.
