TNI holds low-cost food bazaars in Subang and Malang

In celebration of the 81st Anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), regional military commands (Kodim) in Subang and Malang held low-cost food bazaars to assist local residents with basic necessities.

In Subang, the Kodim 0605/Subang organized a bazaar at the Makodim basketball court, offering essential goods like cooking oil, eggs, and flour at prices below market rates. Letkol Czi Deny Widi Anggoro stated the initiative aims to lighten the economic burden on the community, noting that 100 free food coupons were also provided to underprivileged citizens.

Similarly, Kodim 0833/Kota Malang hosted a bazaar attended by local officials, including Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat. Letkol Inf Dedy Azis explained that the event serves a dual purpose: providing affordable staples to residents and offering a platform for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to market their products, thereby supporting the local economy.
