TNI launches 130th TMMD program for rural development
The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) has launched the 130th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) program for 2026, focusing on infrastructure and community development in several regions.
In Lebak Regency, Banten, the program in Citorek Tengah Village includes paving a 1.4-kilometer road. This project is expected to reduce travel distance for residents by 8.6 kilometers, connecting the Cibeber and Cigemblong districts. Other planned physical works include constructing five boreholes, repairing five uninhabitable houses, and building a 20-meter retaining wall. Non-physical activities will involve health, education, and anti-drug socialization.
In Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, 150 TNI personnel have been deployed to Kawite-wite Village. The Muna local government has allocated approximately Rp1.03 billion to support the initiative. Physical projects in this region include house renovations, embankment construction, farm road development, and clean water provision. Non-physical programs will focus on addressing malnutrition, stunting, and drug abuse awareness.
