TNM plc reports 112% profit surge and announces fibre network acquisition

TNM plc announced that for the year ended 31 December 2025 it generated revenue of K222.9 billion and net profit after tax of K21.27 billion, reflecting a 41 % rise in revenue and a 112 % increase in profit. The company declared total dividends of K7.96 billion, including a final payout of K0.23 per share. Board chair Ted Sauti‑Phiri described 2025 as a year of “transformative growth”, while CEO Michel Hebert noted EBITDA grew 48 % and the firm added more than one million new subscribers and mobile‑money users, regaining significant market share.

At the 31st Annual General Meeting in Lilongwe, shareholders approved the purchase of fibre‑network infrastructure from Open Connect Limited for K11.5 billion, aimed at expanding services for TNM’s seven million subscribers and creating new revenue streams.
