TNT and Flow to premiere Argentine series Cautiva

TNT and Flow are set to premiere the new Argentine original series ‘Cautiva’ this September. The series will debut on TNT on September 18 with weekly episodes, while the full season will be available on Flow starting September 19.

Inspired by a true story, the drama follows Clara (played by Carolina Kopelioff), a young woman who enters a cloistered convent only to face a regime of abuse and cruelty imposed by the Mother Superior, Cecilia (played by Lorena Vega). After fifteen years, Clara escapes in a fragile physical and psychological state and begins a journey of healing and justice with her family's support.

Directed by Paula Hernández and Jazmín Stuart, the production explores the contrast between the 21st-century setting and the archaic, medieval-style religious practices within the convent. The series is produced by Aleph Cine and features an ensemble cast including Rita Cortese and Julieta Zylberberg.
