To Lam calls for concrete implementation of Party resolutions

Vietnamese General Secretary and President To Lam has called for the effective implementation of recent Political Bureau resolutions, emphasizing that Party directives must translate into tangible outcomes for the population. Speaking at a national video-conference in Ha Noi, To Lam stressed that leadership must be held accountable for meeting specific tasks, deadlines, and measurable results.

To facilitate development, the President urged agencies to eliminate overlapping regulations and legal gaps that currently hinder innovation, talent attraction, and resource mobilization. He advocated for decentralization and the delegation of authority, provided they are supported by adequate human resources, finance, and technology.

To Lam also highlighted the importance of regional connectivity, suggesting that localities should jointly finance and implement inter-regional projects rather than focusing on fragmented development. Additionally, he identified tourism as a potential new growth driver that should be developed as an integrated, cross-sectoral economic ecosystem while protecting cultural heritage and the environment.
