Tobago officials and Sport Ministry discuss youth development

Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Phillip Watts led a delegation to Tobago to meet with Secretary of Youth Empowerment and Sport Keigon Denoon. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Ministry and the Division to implement youth development initiatives.

Key proposed programmes include the Reimagined Retiree Adolescent Partnership Programme (RAPP) and the Principles of Groundsmanship (CVQ/TTNVQ Level 1) initiative. These efforts aim to support youth empowerment, skills development, and opportunities within the sports sector.

Following the discussions, officials conducted site visits to the Mt. Pleasant Recreation Ground, Canaan/Bon Accord Recreation Ground, and Courland Recreation Ground to review ongoing works and discuss potential facility upgrades.
