Tobias Gulliksen collapses Lillestrøm SK transfer deal
A planned loan transfer of footballer Tobias Gulliksen to Lillestrøm SK has collapsed after the player reportedly changed his mind upon arriving in Norway. Gulliksen, currently with Rapid Wien, had allegedly agreed to all terms of a loan deal through January.
Lillestrøm sporting director Espen Olsen expressed significant frustration, describing the situation as “incredibly clumsy” and “very bad style.” Olsen maintained that the agreement was finalized, including contract details and travel arrangements, and that the player had confirmed his intent to join the club shortly before his flight from Austria.
Gulliksen has since informed the club that he intends to travel to Turkey to sign with a different team. Olsen clarified that the player's agents were not responsible for the breakdown in negotiations, placing the responsibility solely on the player.
