Chiba and Saitama Kick Off Summer Festival Season

From August 2 to 6, 2026, Funabashi Racecourse in Chiba Prefecture will host the fifth "Funabashi Summer Festival" featuring a water‑slide area, a beer garden, a short‑distance graded race (the Shinjō‑Kira Sprint SII) and family‑friendly attractions such as a shaved‑ice stall and character meet‑and‑greet.

On the same day, the Saitama Construction Misato Branch in Misato, Saitama Prefecture will hold its ninth "Dokken Summer Festival" with games like ring‑toss and kendama, food stalls offering frankfurters, yakisoba and soft drinks, and a selection of local beers. Both events are organized as community‑focused summer celebrations aimed at families and local residents.
