Manchester United finalizing several player exits before transfer deadline

Manchester United is finalizing several player departures as the summer transfer window approaches its deadline. Midfielder Toby Collyer is set to join West Bromwich Albion on a permanent deal. The transfer is valued at an initial £3 million, with potential add-ons that could increase the total value to £7.6 million. Manchester United has also secured a 40 per cent sell-on clause for the 22-year-old.

In other squad movements, Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee is reportedly linked with a season-long loan to Fiorentina, which may include an option for a permanent transfer. Additionally, academy defender James Overy is poised to join Sydney FC in Australia on a three-year contract; while the initial move involves no transfer fee, United has retained a buy-back option, matching rights, and a sell-on clause. Midfielder Dan Gore is also in advanced talks regarding a loan move to Luton Town.
