Toby Mobbs to embark on 14,000km national music tour

Albury-based musician and librarian Toby Mobbs is preparing for a 14,000-kilometre national tour starting October 7 to promote his new album, ‘Stranger That I Know’.

Mobbs will undertake the 28-day journey in his 2004 Mazda3 hatchback, which has recently surpassed 400,000 kilometres on the odometer. The vehicle, originally owned by his mother, has been used extensively for his previous two national tours, which covered nearly 30,000 kilometres across Australia. Mobbs, who works at the Charles Sturt University library, expressed hope that the high-mileage vehicle will endure the upcoming trek.
