Tocantins gubernatorial candidate Dorinha receives military support

Senator Professora Dorinha, a candidate for the governorship of Tocantins, has received formal support from high-ranking officers of the Tocantins Military Police (PMTO). The endorsement was announced by Colonels Valdeone and W. Costa, along with Lieutenant Colonel Acácio.

The officers cited Dorinha’s public security project as the most favorable for the state. During their meeting, the military representatives presented several demands to the candidate, including increasing personnel numbers, reviewing food and uniform allowances, providing legal support to officers, maintaining stable shifts, and conducting regular public entrance exams.

Dorinha committed to studying legal support for military personnel and pledged to reinforce the police presence in rural areas and smaller municipalities to ensure state-wide coverage.
