Tocantins gubernatorial candidates present proposals after debate

Candidates for the government of Tocantins presented their proposals following a debate organized by the Federação das Indústrias do Estado do Tocantins (Fieto) and TV Jovem Record in Palmas.

Among the participants, Professora Dorinha (União Brasil) proposed the revocation of the Fundo Estadual de Transporte (FET) to support the productive sector and lower logistics costs. She also emphasized management by results in healthcare and the expected opening of the Hospital Geral de Araguaína in the first half of 2027. Laurez Moreira (PSD) focused his remarks on criticizing the lack of government planning and delays in state public works. Vicentinho Júnior (PSDB) also shared positions regarding economy, management, and infrastructure.
