Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue rejects bribery attempts in Anambra Central senate race

Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue, the Labour Party’s senatorial candidate for Anambra Central, has issued a warning against political actors attempting to bribe him into withdrawing from the 2027 senatorial race.

Ikezue reported that members of his campaign council were approached with financial offers to persuade him to step aside. He has instructed his aides to reject all such overtures and warned that any staff member attempting to negotiate on his behalf will be immediately removed from their position.

Describing his candidacy as a religious calling rather than a pursuit of financial gain, Ikezue introduced a six-point agenda titled ‘Rescue, Results, Representation.’ His platform focuses on addressing erosion damage, expanding youth and women's skills programs, establishing empowerment schemes for persons with disabilities, providing welfare for residents aged 60 and above, and strengthening legislative oversight.
