Todd and Julie Chrisley face $1.5 million in alleged back taxes

Reality television stars Todd and Julie Chrisley reportedly owe approximately $1.57 million in unpaid federal taxes to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). According to reports, the IRS filed a federal tax lien in August 2026 involving two separate unpaid assessments.

The first assessment, for the tax period ending December 31, 2021, totals $142,410.72. The second, for the period ending December 31, 2022, amounts to $1,429,041.89. These debts stem from a period when the couple had not yet been incarcerated.

The Chrisleys previously served prison time for bank fraud and tax evasion related to earnings from their series ‘Chrisley Knows Best’. Although they were pardoned by President Donald Trump in May 2025, these new tax liabilities have emerged. The couple has not publicly addressed the recent filings.
