Tampa Bay Buccaneers face Packers amid coaching scrutiny and injuries

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Green Bay Packers this Sunday at Raymond James Stadium amidst significant organizational pressure. Following an 0-3 start to the season, head coach Todd Bowles is facing increased scrutiny, with some betting markets and analysts placing him on the ‘hot seat’ regarding potential dismissal.

The team will be without starting quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is sidelined for at least three weeks due to a dislocated right thumb. Rookie Jalon Daniels is expected to make his first NFL start in Mayfield’s absence. Other key injuries for Tampa Bay include linebacker Rueben Bain Jr., tight end Ko Kieft, and cornerback Benjamin Morrison.

Green Bay will also be missing several players, including guards Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk, and defensive tackles Warren Brinson and Anthony Campbell. While the Buccaneers have struggled, analysts note they maintain a statistical advantage in the run game compared to the Packers, who currently rank near the bottom of the league in rushing efficiency.
