Todd McFarlane's Unreleased Spawn Animated Film Nears Completion

Todd McFarlane announced that a 90‑minute animated adaptation of his Spawn comic is fully voiced, featuring Keith David as Al Simmons and Mark Hamill as Twitch Williams. The project, which he reacquired after a production dispute, only requires final sound effects (foley) and animation work before it can be released.

Speaking at San Diego Comic‑Con, McFarlane said, "All the voices have been done… All we need is a little bit of Foley, which is sound effects and stuff, and then hand it to a studio to actually draw."

The unreleased film has been stored in a box for years, awaiting post‑production, and McFarlane indicated he is ready to move it forward once the final steps are completed.
