Todd Sabatini and toddler son missing after Illinois walk

A multi-state search is underway for 36-year-old Todd Sabatini and his 22-month-old son, Theo, who vanished during a routine afternoon walk from their home in McHenry, Illinois.

The pair was last seen around noon on Saturday near Oak Drive and Elm Street. Authorities noted that the disappearance was unusual because Sabatini did not have necessary provisions for an extended excursion. During the search, Theo's stroller was discovered behind a local business, and security footage showed Sabatini making contact with individuals at a church and a Taco Bell.

Sabatini and Theo reportedly took a rideshare to the Greenfield Police Department in Wisconsin, where Sabatini spoke with an officer before leaving the station on foot around 2 p.m. Saturday. Law enforcement officials believe the pair may be in the Milwaukee area and are coordinating efforts between Illinois and Wisconsin authorities to locate them.
