Toei Animation announces Dragon Ball Super: Beerus release date

Toei Animation has confirmed the release of ‘Dragon Ball Super: Beerus’, a revamped and condensed version of the franchise’s modern era. The project is scheduled for a global release on October 11, 2026, via the streaming platform Crunchyroll.

Unlike the original 2015 series, this production will consist of 19 episodes designed to improve animation quality and narrative pacing by reducing filler content. The initial phase will adapt three major story arcs: the Battle of Gods, the Resurrection ‘F’, and the Universe 6 Tournament.

While official plans initially focused on these three arcs, recent merchandising leaks from the Grandista figure line suggest the production may extend to include the Goku Black saga. This project is intended to serve as a technical and chronological bridge toward future adaptations, such as ‘Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol’.
